Linda and her husband of over 38 years, Attorney Rick Lawton, are proud parents of two children, Brian and Carrie, and grandparents of Isabelle and Ruby. Linda is a certified pilot for fixed wing airplanes. In her spare time she likes to play golf and ski . She is a member of the local political watch committee, a graduate of extensive communication/leadership classes, and an avid supporter of all local child and youth activities.

Living in Fernley for over 40 years, I have seen a lot of growth happen here. I graduated from Fernley High School, raised my children, and have participated in many community activities throughout the years. I have served on the board of the Fernley Foundation, and I am a past officer of the Fernley High School Booster Board.

Rena Estes

I was raised in a small town, and the small town atmosphere of Fernley was what I was looking for when I moved from South Lake Tahoe after 14 years of living in deep snow. My large extended family and I moved to our new home in the country, on the outskirts of Fernley several years ago. 

The mild weather in Fernley allows for more outdoor activities that include gardening, horseback riding, snow skiing, fishing, boating and don’t forget the local nightlife. 

Small town as it might be, the growth potential in the Fernley area is exciting. It is a wonderful place to call home and a great place to raise a family. It all makes me excited about the future of our community and the state of Nevada.
I have a varied background; prior to getting my real estate license I worked as an administrative assistant for time share resorts, real estate agents, as well as property management for my current broker. I enjoy the on-going educational benefits of a real estate career and hope to pass those benefits on to my clients.
